Amanda Roraff is Vice President of Marketing and Communications at NextEnergy, a Detroit nonprofit organization founded in 2002 whose mission is to accelerate technologies that transform the way we use energy to live and move for a more sustainable future.

Roraff previously served as a program communications consultant to NextEnergy, leading various efforts for the industry services and venture development teams from 2008-2010. She returned to NextEnergy in 2012 as the director of marketing and communications until she was promoted to vice president in December 2015.

Roraff has demonstrated successes in corporate strategy, marketing, communications, public relations, event management, collateral and website development, writing and social media. Starting her career at a dental technology startup, Roraff produced over 90 trade shows a year and launched a national training campaign for dentists. At the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, acclaimed as a US Top 10 Trade Show Producer, Roraff produced large-scale trade shows and campaigns across the country. She has also provided marketing, communications and event management consulting to nonprofit and for profit organizations, such as Buick, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and the George P. Johnson Company.

Roraff is a graduate of the Leadership Detroit Class XXXVII, a highly competitive and transformational leadership program hosted by the Detroit Regional Chamber. She served as the Treasurer for the International Association for Expositions and Events, Michigan Chapter from 2007 to 2010 and currently sits on the board of the non-profit organization, Our Global Kids. Roraff holds a B.A. from the James Madison College at Michigan State University.
