The Small Business Legal Academy is meant to help small business owners and entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level.

There will be four, hands-on panels covering the basic legal issues that business owners need to know.  These include:

  • ·    Intellectual Property
  • ·    Real Estate
  • ·    Employment
  • ·    Business structure, formation, and funding

You will have the chance to hear from some of Detroit’s leading attorneys. Each panel will include a chance to interact with the speakers and ask questions.

The Small Business Legal Academy will provide direction and general information relevant to early stage businesses and entrepreneurs, but not representation. For private legal consultations, participants should register for the Small Business Legal Clinic.
