2017 Detroit Startup Week has a place-based entrepreneurship track. The Village supporting entrepreneurs where they are - from idea to brick and mortar. Place-based entrepreneurship in Detroit adds value to the revitalization of commercial corridors. Thru this work residents and visitors have the amenities and services they desire in vibrant, dense communities. This reception is bringing together the doers, influencers and stakeholders that launch, stabilize and grow Detroit's place-based businesses.
