Detroit's neighborhoods are underserved in terms of professional services, from neighborhood lawyers, to doctors, dentists, and veterinarians. This program is to demonstrate how to successfully plan, brand, develop, market and grow a neighborhood business in Detroit.

There is significant benefit for Detroit Entrepreneurs - we should be encouraged to start professional businesses in the City, these are the businesses that sustain neighborhoods and create better quality of life for people in our city. They also bring Detroit closer to those 20 minute neighborhoods idealized by the Mayor's office/administration.

Professional services are vital to the strength of neighborhoods. Knowing that there is an available professional in your community can give tremendous value for individuals, families, and small businesses. This is especially true when it comes to medical care, but it is also very important to have a neighborhood lawyer, veterinarian, accountant, tax professional who is available and a trusted asset to the community.
